Mass Plantation Program
Mass Plantation program is organized every year in Bhiwandi tahsil of Thane district. The fruit and wild saplings are distributed to the interested and needy farmers and families free of cost.
Monitoring of the trees is being done with support of the farmers.Technical inputs like digging the pits, use of compost and manure, How to plant the saplings, pruning the sapling, How to protect the saplings in the summer, local technologies for watering the saplings etc. are being provided to the farmers.
