About EVS

Ekatmik Vikas Sanstha, EVS (English Translation: Integrated Development Society) is a pioneering organization in the Environment Conservation Horticulture and Management of Natural Resources. The organization is registered under Society Registration act 1860, Public Trust Act 1950 and Income Tax Act 1961.

Achievements:  Planted 25000 fruit and wild saplings in Bhiwandi, Wada, and Vasai tahsils of Thane and Palghar districts, Maharashtra from 2014 to 2021.  Created 100 (from 1 Gunta to 5 Acres) horticulture sites)  Mobilized 500 farmers for Conservation of Environment through Plantation  Created Loose Boulders Structures, LBS, Micro Ponds, Continuous Contour Trenches, CCTs under Scheme of Panni Adva and Panni Jirva.  Constructed approached road for Nimbavali School, Dist. Palghar  Distributed clothes, water purifiers, furniture, TV sets, electrical material, Fans, Led Bulbs, Mixers, and shoes to needy and poor families through Green Yatra.  Trained 100 women in stitching and cutting the clothes. Donated the sewing machines to needy women to make them self-reliant  Donated the electric water pump to the tribal farmer for generating sustainable livelihood.

Our Mission

To sensitize all the stakeholders on the importance of natural resources management, flora-fauna, rehabilitation of degraded sites and empower them to contribute to sustainable development. To build capacities of the women, Project Affected families, tribal communities & Marginalized Groups in order to promote their empowerment and self-reliance to secure long-term well-being.

Our Vision

To achieve such development that is: Socially acceptable, economically viable Environmentally sound, Effective in impact, Equitable. Addressing the needs and rights of the: Project Affected Communities, children, tribal women, and marginalized sections, etc.

Emergency Support

From 13.04.2020 to 30.04.2020, EVS mobilized and distributed 10 tons of Food Grains to poor and needy families residing in Tokarwira-Usgaon,Bramanpada, Gothanpada, and Mahalunge villages in Bhiwanditahsil. (Rice, Pulses, Oil, Potatoes Sugar, Tea power, and vegetables)
